Manassas runway run 2023
Participants will have the unique opportunity to run or walk on the airport's ultra-flat runway while enjoying beautiful views, modern & vintage aircrafts, and operational runways with takeoffs and landings.
This event will feature a 10K- 5K race, and a 1-mile fun run walk with proceeds benefiting Bull Run Rotary Foundation,
Manassas City Police Association, PWC Civil Air Patrol, and Compassion Airlift.

Compassion Airlift provides free air transportation for patients who have both a financial need and a need for air travel for specialized medical treatment or rehabilitation not available near their home.
Prince William Civil Air Patrol
Prince William Composite Squadron (VA-102) consists of nearly 170 adult and youth members from diverse backgrounds, volunteering together to serve our community, state, and Nation.
Civil Air Patrol senior members are adult volunteers (ages 18+) who want to use their experiences and skills to serve their community. Senior members serve as pilots, aircrew, radio operators, administrators, public affairs officers, ground team members, and mentors for youth.

Manassas City Police Association, Inc. (MCPA), was formed in 1991 as a non-stock, non-profit corporation. MCPA is an independent and autonomous affiliate of the Manassas City Police Department, governed by its own Board of Directors, Articles of Incorporation, and By-Laws.

Want to set a PR? How about running on the ultra-flat Manassas Airport Runway. This course is unique in that the other runway close by will still be operational for takeoff and landing while the race is underway! Start and Finish on the taxiway near the main terminal. Enjoy the scenic views for the modern and vintage aircrafts that are on display near the Start/Finish Line.
All runners will need to have finished the first 2.9 miles of their race by 8:50am as the airport runway will reopen.
We now offer a virtual run option for those who cannot make it on race day.
